Billing, cancellation & no-refund policy
Free sharing remains available without a payment method. Plus is optional and costs $5 USD/month, billed monthly through Stripe. All Plus payments are non-refundable.
Before you pay
Plus requires a confirmed account. Open Dashboard → Billing to start hosted Stripe Checkout. There is no trial or annual commitment. You are charged at purchase and each monthly renewal until you cancel. Checkout shows the total, including any applicable taxes, before you confirm. Because payments are not refunded, decide before you pay. Do not send card numbers, passwords or API keys to support.
No refunds
Every Plus payment is final. We do not refund an unused month, part of a month, a renewal you forgot to cancel, an upgrade you did not use, a downgrade, or a change of mind. Cancelling stops future renewals only: it does not refund or credit the current period, and access simply continues until that period ends. There is no money-back guarantee, trial refund, pro-rata credit or transfer of a payment to another account.
Cancel or update your payment method
Open Dashboard → Billing → Manage billing to view invoices, update a payment method or cancel. Cancel before the next renewal; the Stripe portal shows the date the next charge is due. If you cannot access the portal, contact support@pastesite.com from the account email before that date.
Duplicate charges and billing mistakes
The only money we send back is a charge the system should not have taken: a duplicate charge for the same period, or a charge taken after a cancellation was confirmed. Report it to support@pastesite.com with the account email, invoice identifier and date — never payment details. A verified error is reversed to the original payment method through Stripe. Correcting an error is not a refund right and does not create an exception for any other payment.
After cancellation or a failed payment
Paid limits end when the paid period expires or a payment failure suspends access. No existing paste, folder or API key is deleted by downgrade. Oversized pastes remain readable and may be shortened; growing beyond Free needs Plus. Existing revision capacity is retained up to 100, with future edits rotating within it. New folders and keys are blocked while over the Free cap. Manage billing can resolve a failed payment; Refresh plan rechecks the result with Stripe.
Cancel and wait for the subscription to end before deleting your account. Billing records may be retained for accounting, disputes and legal obligations.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes a cancellation, withdrawal or refund right that the consumer law applicable to you gives you — for example the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK, or a right that applies where a paid service was not provided. Where such a law applies, it overrides this policy and we honour it. If you believe it applies to you, write to support@pastesite.com with the details above and cite the law you rely on.
